We take responsibility for people and the environment

We are a medium-sized company in the heart of the Thuringian Slate Mountains. This is the centre of our living space and is our employees‘ and their families’ home town, recreation area and home. Protecting the environment is therefore of particular concern to us. For this reason, the management has decided to expand our existing quality management system to include an environmental management system. This environmental management system has been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 since 31 October 2024. In addition to continuously improving the quality of our products, we are also committed to continuously improving our environmental footprint.

In addition to our customers, whom we satisfy by coating their products according to their quality specifications and making them more durable with our high-quality coatings, we also see the environment as a valued partner. We are aware of our responsibility towards our partners. For this reason, we are always working to effectively recycle and reuse waste products so that we can minimise waste production even as production volumes increase.

If our environment is healthy, our company can be too. Our proximity to the local recreational area in particular obliges us to maintain and strengthen it as such. In doing so, we comply with all legally binding obligations and specifications as well as internal and external requirements, because our goals should always be up-to-date.

We have set ourselves the goal of becoming CO2-neutral by 2040. Along the way, we are taking measures to efficiently utilise and reduce energy resources such as electricity, gas, water and fuel. We are constantly reviewing our processes in order to utilise plants as efficiently as possible. We use raw materials and resources sparingly and in an environmentally friendly manner.

Our employees actively contribute to the company's success through their professional and personal qualifications. We show our appreciation for them by providing motivating working conditions and promoting their responsibility and qualifications. Our environmental performance is constantly reviewed and analysed, enabling us to identify, implement and exploit potential for improvement. Our employees are actively involved in this process. Thanks to their involvement, suggestions for improvement in environmental management can be implemented.
